Craig Knight

Craig Knight is the president of Protean Electric, Inc., and an executive vice president of Global Business Development of Protean Holdings, Inc.  He leads all investor relations activities and spearheads the company’s strategic marketing, sales, and public and government relations activities.

Mr. Knight is the former CEO of Protean and its predecessor company. He was the company’s second employee and oversaw early fund raising, recruitment, operations and product development. He is based at the company’s office in Detroit.

Prior to Protean, Mr. Knight had a successful career in corporate law and investment banking, as well as having exposure to the automotive industry. He was the founder of Hot Rods & Horsepower where he developed the Dearborn Deuceâ„¢ reproduction 1932 Ford convertible street rod. He is looking forward to commuting to work in an electric Dearborn Deuceâ„¢ hot rod powered by Protean in-wheel motors.
 
Craig has B.A. and M.A. degrees in Law from Oxford University and an LLM degree in corporate law from New York University. He is a member of the Vice Chancellors Council at Oxford University and a member of the Governing Body at Regents Park College, Oxford and an Honorary Fellow.
