Bernard Swiecki has worked as a researcher at the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) for over ten years. He has written and managed research in a diverse array of automotive fields, including the economic significance of the automotive industry, vehicle assembly developments, the vehicle launch process, the industry’s use of information technology, the dynamics of automaker and supplier interaction, revenue acquisition management, and facility retention and attraction by automotive communities.
Mr. Swiecki has authored numerous articles, as well as a column, on the automotive industry and has presented at numerous conferences and industry events. He has been involved in a number of consulting projects which have addressed a wide array of automotive topics.
Bernard Swiecki is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1998 and his M.S. from Eastern Michigan University in 2003.
